| Marriott Vacation Club Opens First Resort on St. Thomas

(NYSE: MAR) , announced today the opening of its first timeshare resort on St. Thomas - Marriott's Frenchman's Cove. Creating the atmosphere of a quaint coastal hillside village, the first phase includes 28 two- and three-bedroom villas, a large, beachfront infinity pool, an activities building which offers Marriott's Activity Zone Experience program and a fitness center. Later this summer, the resort will add another 30, two-bedroom villas to the property which is adjacent to the 504-room Frenchman's Reef Marriott Beach Resort. SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, PA. -- Shawnee Mountain Ski Area, along with Boy Scout Troop #105 and the Minsi Trails Council, will host the 17th Annual Pocono Scout Weekend March 10 and 11. Last year, thousands of scouts from five states participated in the event, some coming as far away as Virginia and Massachusetts. This weekend offers scouts an excellent opportunity to try winter sports for the first time. All skiers and riders can enjoy great conditions at some of the best rates offered all season.
Both days will start with a breakfast buffet at Shawnee Mountain 7to 9:30 a.m. Saturday will feature merit badge testing, which is free and open to all registered scouts with an intermediate level ability and above. On Saturday evening, Troop #105 will sponsor a pasta dinner at nearby Notre Dame High School.
